Higher Graduate Diploma Program in Clinical Sciences (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) is a program that focuses on training oral surgery dentists with the knowledge and expertise to provide effective and safe treatment of patients through diverse learning and active learning activities. In addition, the program also instills students with the skills necessary to be dentists who have integrity, adhere to professional ethics, are able to work as a team in medical treatment, track progress, and study further in oral and maxillofacial surgery and associated fields on their own. Furthermore, the program provides training students able to analyze and use modern technology to be applied to self-improvement and continuous quality patient care with a guide for living by the motto of the “Prince of Songkla” His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol Adulyadej: “Our Soul is for the Benefit of Mankind.”
On completion of the program, students should have shown evidence of being able to
PLO1 Behave consistently with the principles of morality, professional ethics, and duty responsibility.
PLO2 Be able to analyze and evaluate academic information for personal and professional development continuously
PLO3 Be able to work in the roles of both leaders and followers in teams within a multicultural culture.
PLO4 Be able to run numerical analysis utilizing information technology to search for up-to-date information, communicate, and present effectively.
PLO5 Be able to conduct academic research, case report, or research projects on their own.
PLO6 Fluently use Thai or English to communicate, discuss and present
PLO7 Be able to use modern technology to treat patients in specific fields of dentistry effectively.
PLO8 Able to treat oral surgery patients and handle complications in patients with modern technology.
