The Faculty of Dentistry, Prince of Songkla University, proudly hosted the 19th International Dental Collaboration of the Mekong River Region Congress (IDCMR 2025) under the concept “Unveiling the Future of Dentistry.”

The opening ceremony was honored by Mr. Woraphan Suwannayuha, Songkhla Provincial Permanent Secretary (representing the Governor of Songkhla), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanit Chaloemyanon, Vice President for Planning and Finance, who delivered the welcome remarks, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Songchai Thitasomakul, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, PSU, who presented the conference report.

The conference took place from 15–17 October 2025 at Laguna Grand Hotel & Spa, Songkhla, gathering participants from across the Mekong region — including Thailand, Vietnam, China, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, India, and Japan. The event brought together professors, dental professionals, researchers, and students through a variety of programs — keynote lectures, academic sessions, and networking activities — all designed to foster collaboration and inspire innovation. From modern dental technologies and digital dentistry to advanced treatments and holistic patient care, IDCMR 2025 served as a meaningful platform shaping the future of dentistry and enhancing the quality of life across our region.
