The Faculty of Dentistry, in collaboration with the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), organized the opening ceremony of the 2025 International Training Program on “Multidisciplinary Care in Dentistry.” The event was held on April 21, 2025, at the Main Conference Room (7th Floor, Building 3), Faculty of Dentistry.
The ceremony was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs at Prince of Songkla University, who presided over the opening. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Songchai Thitasomakul, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, delivered the commencement report, while Mr. Grisada Phakakarn, Director of the Human Resources Development Cooperation Division, delivered a welcoming address to the participants via an online platform. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kewalin Thammasitboon, the event chair, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaranya Hunsrisakhun and other faculty members, provided a warm welcome to all attendees
This program was established to foster collaborative learning and hands-on experience, equipping international participants with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to develop multidisciplinary approaches. The goal is to provide comprehensive oral healthcare for both the general population and the elderly.
