







On 14th December 2022, Prof. Dr. Chidchanok Leethanakul, Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, Prince of Songkla University together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Udom Thongudomporn, Vice Dean for Educational and International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Srisurang Suttapreyasri, Vice Dean for Research and Postgraduate Education and Asst. Prof. Narit Leepong, Vice dean for Dental Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry visited Saveetha Dental College, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, India and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between two institutions.
On this occasion, the ceremony was witnessed by Her Excellency Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, as the Guest of Honour. The event was also honoured by His Excellency Mr. Nitirooge Phoneprasert, Consul General of Royal Thai Consulate – General, Chennai.
The objective of the MOU is to further strengthen the cooperation between two institutions in the areas of academic exchange and research collaboration.
During the visit, our dean and the executive team were given the warm welcome from Prof. Aravind Kumar Subramanian, Dean of Saveetha Dental College and all professors. We have invited to visit to various sections around the college and hospital in order to observe the SDC’s curriculum management, teaching andlearning activities, researches administration, hospital administration and clinical activities. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Chidchanok Leethanakul, the dean, also delivered the special lecture on ” Biology of orthodontic tooth movement”and this lecture was attended by more than 30 postgraduate students and academic staffs.
